Paul Citron, M.S.

Paul Citron joined Ichor’s Scientific Advisory Board in 2006 and is currently a senior fellow at the von Liebig Center, School of Engineering, University of California San Diego. He worked at Medtronic, Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 2003. His positions at Medtronic included Vice President, Technology Policy and Academic Relations; Vice President, Science and Technology; Vice President, Ventures Technology; Vice President, Applied Concepts Research; and Director, Applied Concepts Research. In 1980, Paul was inducted as a Fellow of Medtronic’s Bakken Society, the company’s highest technical recognition. He has served on numerous professional advisory boards and committees including the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Engineering, and National Research Council, and has been a distinguished visiting professor at the School of Management, Georgia Tech. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
